Ah, summer. As of last Friday, the days are getting shorter (sorry to remind you). But that also means one very exciting thing:
It’s finally summer.
Bonfires, weddings, festivals, warm weather… what’s not to love?!
Summer also means Joe and I spend nearly every weekend traveling around the state and taking pictures of amazing people. This year’s summer solstice wasn’t the warmest or sunniest day, but with Jen and Matt’s engagement session already rescheduled once because of less-than-appealing weather, we were so glad that the entire evening only consisted of a single raindrop.
When these two showed up with a classic tee and a sunny yellow dress, we knew that’s exactly all this session needed to look like a warm summer night.
We spent the evening exploring the place where they had their very first date. We laughed at wild stories. And they laughed at us making them do weird things just to get a picture.
It was a phenomenal start to summer. Cheers to Jen and Matt!
