Love knows no distance, and Lindsay and Zach’s story is a testament to this. Despite Zach living on the East Coat and Lindsay living in Milwaukee, they fell deeply in love while Lindsay was working in New Jersey for an internship. Zach made the obvious decision to move to Milwaukee to be with her. On a sunny day in October, they exchanged their vows privately during a first look at Lakeshore Park, and rang in their marriage in a heartfelt ceremony at Saints Peter & Paul Parish, surrounded by their loved ones. Finally, they celebrated their love at their Schlitz Audubon reception. After their photos, you can read more details of their day and their “Weekend Wedding” photo and video package.
Getting Ready at The Westin
The day started at The Westin in Milwaukee, where Lindsay and her bridesmaids got ready in a spacious conference room. The mood was relaxed and joyful as they laughed, sipped champagne, and shared stories of their friendship. Meanwhile, Zach and his groomsmen got ready in a suite in the hotel, enjoying the camaraderie and excitement of the big day.
As Lindsay slipped into her stunning wedding dress and put on her veil, her bridesmaids gasped at her beauty and gave her a round of applause. She looked stunning, radiant, and full of love. Her bridesmaids also hyped her up for her brains, caring heart, and talents. Zach wore a sharp navy blue suit and a great watch.
A heartwarming ceremony at Saints Peter and Paul Parish
The wedding ceremony took place at Saints Peter & Paul Parish, a charming and historic church with soaring ceilings, stained-glass windows, and ornate details. Lindsay walked down the aisle on the arm of her father, who was beaming with pride and emotion. Zach watched her with tears in his eyes. As she reached him, their ceremony began.
A reception at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center
The reception was held at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, a gorgeous venue nestled in a peaceful and natural setting. The decor was colorful yet elegant, with floral arrangements in shades of pink and white, candles, and crystal and silver details. The guests enjoyed delicious food, drinks, and desserts, while dancing to the tunes of the DJ and celebrating the newlyweds.
Family First: A rehearsal dinner at Central Standard
Zach’s family traveled from the East Coast to attend the wedding, and it was a joyous occasion for both families to meet and bond. The night before the wedding, they had a rehearsal dinner at Central Standard, a hip and trendy restaurant in Milwaukee, where they enjoyed great food and drinks and toasted to Lindsay and Zach’s happiness.
The "Weekend Wedding" Photo and Video package
As their photographer and videographer, we had the privilege of capturing every moment of Lindsay and Zach’s wedding, from the preparations to the ceremony, the reception, and the after-party. They had booked our “Weekend Wedding” package, which meant that we covered two days of their wedding festivities and created an extended wedding video. This allowed them to capture every moment of their special day, from the getting ready process to the reception dance party. The resulting photos and video were stunning, capturing the love, joy, and beauty of their wedding day.
Looking back at Lindsay and Zach’s wedding, we can’t help but smile and feel grateful for being part of such a beautiful and meaningful event. Their love, warmth, and kindness touched everyone around them, and we’re sure that they will continue to inspire and uplift each other for many years to come. Congratulations, Lindsay and Zach, and may your love story be filled with joy, adventure, and endless love.
