These pictures from our Lake Michigan beach and beers photo shoot with the most rad couple ever have been waiting for me to share them for DAYS, but I’ve really been struggling with the words to accompany them.
This session was rad AF.
Everything about it was goals, from Annabelle and Eric’s dream wardrobe and super cool tats to the way they so clearly adore each other in an effortless way. After meeting people this fun to be around, it’s hard to put together a blog post that does these humans justice. But I have to try. Cannot wait any longer to share these pictures.
Instagram is to blame for connecting us with Annabelle and Eric – truthfully, I have no idea how the ‘gram brought us together, but it did. From the moment I started following Annabelle, I wanted to be her in-real-life friend. Eric seemed pretty cool, too, and I knew that he liked Joey Badass, so I assumed Joe would have something to chat with him about.
Folks, I underestimated how much we’d love this insanely rad couple. When we finally had the opportunity to take some pictures of A+E a few weeks ago, it was like meeting cooler versions of ourselves. The night started out with quite a bit of walking. By the time we followed our favorite trail all the way down to the shimmering Lake Michigan water, the sun was nearly completely set and we all knew each other a bit better. But it was the way back when we really had the opportunity to connect. In the total darkness of the night, Annabelle and Eric got to witness an extremely sweaty Miranda huff and puff after climbing what felt like a million steps. I, Miranda, still out of breath, couldn’t keep up with the long strides of Joe and Eric, even as the trail flattened. Thankfully, Annabelle didn’t make me walk alone. As Joe and Eric discussed cars, Annabelle and I talked about how we’ve both had the same crazy experience of watching our boyfriend’s racing wheel SPIN ON ITS OWN WITHOUT BEING PROMPTED.
It’s not every day we leave a session and Joe follows the couple on his personal Instagram. A+E, you are our GOALS. Before I know it, Joe’s going to be driving a Taco and have the neck tattoos he’s always wanted. Look for it on our “about” page in 2021. No joke.
