This is Joe. He’s known our Joe, photographer Joe, his whole life – they grew up as neighbors (he used to be referred to as “little Joe” but he’s an adult now so it’s a little weird to still call him that). Though at different times, photographer Joe and senior Joe both attended Port Washington High School in Ozaukee county.
Better yet, senior Joe is headed off to UW-Stout this fall. If you didn’t know, that’s where we both graduated from in 2017, so we had a great time recommending activities and restaurants to Joe prior to him leaving for dorm life.
Our personal must-eat, must-dos in Menomonie? Woodfire pizza and brews at Lucette Brewing Company. Bacon cheddar muffins and an assortment of brewed roasts to choose from at Marion’s Legacy. Late night gourmet hot dogs from Stacked Eatery. And of course, Devil’s Punchbowl along the Red Cedar River.
Wishing Joe all the best in his college adventures.
