Being asked to capture maternity photos in Milwaukee for our past clients, Anna and Jaken, was an absolute honor. The two got married in February of 2020 – just before the pandemic really kicked off in the United States. They had a wild first year as husband and wife given the challenges going on in the world, but now, three years into their marriage, they’re expecting their first baby!
We photographed their maternity session in their Milwaukee apartment, using an empty room as a “studio space” while also getting to take pictures in the baby’s nursery and their bedroom. Home is such a comforting place for any session, but especially so when you’re expecting.
Anna and Jaken are going to make incredible parents. We can’t wait to see what life has in store for them next.
