Gabby and Josh’s Intimate Wedding

Intimate weddings are my thing.

If you’ve been at a wedding I’ve been photographing, I’m sure you’re thinking that there’s no way I’m an introvert. There’s something about weddings that gives me tons of energy and makes me want to hear every guest’s story.

But you guys. Outside of other people’s weddings, I am AN INTROVERT.

My own wedding will be cute, small, and dreamy, just like Gabby and Josh’s sweet intimate wedding. These two threw a perfect celebration of their love on Tuesday, September 25th. By the way, that Tuesday date is for the CUTEST reason. Gabby and Josh wanted their wedding anniversary to be on the same day as their dating anniversary. This year they celebrated eight years together by getting married!
Too often, couples get hung up on parts of the wedding day that exist only to please the guests. Your day is about the love that you share and you should never feel pressure to have a wedding that someone else is dreaming of. If you want to rock a giant wedding, go for it! But if you’re low-key and really want to celebrate with the people that mean the most to you, don’t be afraid of having an intimate wedding.

Gabby and Josh, thanks for being you. Your unique, intimate wedding was the best way I have ever spent a Tuesday. Cheers.

P.S. If anyone reading this planning an intimate wedding, I will totally help you celebrate. I need more weddings like this in my gallery.
