This isn’t actually a Frank Lloyd Wright house, but the wood tones, the light, and greenery absolutely bring through the vibes of the inspirational architect that I grew up aspiring to be. Though I didn’t chase those architecture dreams, design still moves me. Be it Taliesin in Spring Green or the elegant European-inspired Villa Terrace in Milwaukee, buildings – and, most importantly, their stories – bring such a sense of connection and inspire nostalgia in the same way photographs can.
Having Hayley and Senn’s engagement session start in their home is the epitome of capturing meaningful moments. Their loving pups gave us all as many kisses as Hayley and Senn gave each other as they spent the night enjoying the mundane: cuddling on the couch, working on a puzzle, and washing the dishes. We followed their in-home session with a trip to the park and it felt like a wonderful, playful date.
These flirty or romantic or silly moments are worth remembering. The way you and your lovebug are at home – at your most vulnerable and authentic – should mean the world to you, because they do to us. Whether you’re engaged or living together or have been married for years with a growing family, these are memories for the books and we’re going to help you capture them.
To build meaningful moments together, you don’t need a home that feels like it came out of a magazine and it surely doesn’t need to have been designed by Frank Lloyd Wright himself. Your home – the space that has sentimental value to you – is perfect just the way it is. It’s yours, and nobody else’s. If you want a date day session like we had with Hayley and Senn or Kate and Zach, we’ll make it reality. Just click here and tell us about your favorite way to spend a Saturday as a family. We’ll be in touch.
