The Most Emotional Wedding Video | Milwaukee Wedding Videographers

This is the most emotional wedding video. Friends. You haven’t seen pure joy until you see the way this groom reacts to spending the rest of his life with this bride. Jess and Mike had an intimate backyard wedding in Bay View in September. Like many couples, their wedding plans changed a little this year, but we couldn’t have imagined something more beautiful.

While Mike got ready at home and helped organize the arriving vendors, Jess got ready not too far away at the Iron Horse Hotel. Obviously, Jess was a stunning bride, from hand writing her vows in her velvet robe, to when she was finally in her customized Alёna Leena Bridal gown from our fave Milwaukee bridal boutique, Strike Bridal Bar.

Looking dapper, Mike enjoyed a wedding day beer at MobCraft Brewery in Milwaukee’s Third Ward prior to the first look. His reaction to seeing Jess for the first time was serious goals (you’ll just have to watch the video to see how emotional they get).

Their vow exchange was even sweeter and their entire wedding was so thoughtfully put together to honor Jess’s late father and Mike’s late best friend. They had drinks in their names, “The Glen” and “The Eric.” Eric’s mom even surprised Mike with the most unique gift – a necklace with sound waves from Eric’s voice etched in.

Emotional moments ran side-by-side the playfulness of Jess and Mike’s family during their reception. The Polaroid guest book was a hit and photographer Lauren happened to bring a Polaroid camera of her own to get some cute shots of the newlyweds. Brunch was served by Hidden Kitchen MKE and you know I was snacking on the macrons from Greige.

After dessert, we ended the night with one last incredible moment. I don’t know how it happens, but their wedding day story just keeps getting cuter.

They got in Lake Michigan. In their wedding attire. In the rain. And they danced and laughed and got sandy toes and it was everything magical. The rainy weather made their day feel extra surreal as they ended their evening in front of the fog-covered Milwaukee skyline. Wake us up, because this day can’t be real.

Vendor Highlight

When Milwaukee couple Jess and Mike reached out to us about their wedding videography, we were beyond excited. From the beginning of the process, they were so sweet and genuine and, being business owners themselves, they wanted to support as many local Milwaukee businesses on their wedding day as they could. Their vendor lineup ended up being a dream! Seriously – working with an incredible couple and some of the best wedding vendors in Milwaukee – thumbs up. We felt so stinkin’ lucky to be on that list. 10/10, all of the compliments to all of these humans.
