Getting Ready at Hilton Homewood Suites – Wauwatosa
Before heading to St Stanislaus for their ceremony, Bethany and her side of the wedding party had connected rooms at Hilton Homewood Suites. One room, filled with makeup brushes and curling irons, served as a space for hair and makeup prep. The second room was the perfect backdrop for pictures: empty and clean with beautiful window lighting. Bethany’s mom helped her into her gown and the veil she had intricately hand-beaded for her in the well-lit, clean room before Bethany headed off to marry Mitch.
Wedding Ceremony at St Stanislaus Church – Milwaukee
If you’re looking for the perfect church for your wedding ceremony, St Stanislaus is it. The exterior is as stunning as the interior, and it’s perfectly located in downtown Milwaukee. If you want to have your wedding reception at The Pfister, or Pabst Theatre, or any of the other downtown Milwaukee wedding venues, you’ll be in close proximity. As far as churches go, they also have a wonderful photography policy (at least in our experience). While many churches have strict requirements of where and when you can take photos, St Stanislaus allows for a ton of flexibility. That means you can get a wide variety of photos from your photographer.
A Sixth Floor Milwaukee Reception
After Bethany and Mitch made their marriage official, the party at Sixth Floor began. The wedding party drove us all to an alley across from the Pabst Theatre for some photos during cocktail hour, and Bethany and Mitch walked back with us so we could have an opportunity to take some photos at the Riverwalk. The wedding party’s grand entrance at Sixth Floor was certainly grand as the guests cheered them on. And the dancing? Just as grand.
